Comas-Pont arquitectes

Jordi Comas is an architect who graduated from the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB–UPC).
In 2004, together with Anna Pont, they founded Comas-Pont arquitectes in the city of Vic. Since then, the practice has focused on architecture and public space through the relationship between people, the physical and social environment, and climate, proposing new ways of inhabiting spaces and fostering processes of collective transformation while strengthening a sense of belonging, identity, and sustainability. Sadly, Anna Pont passed away in 2024.
Comas-Pont arquitectes has received numerous national and international awards. Among the most significant are the FAD Award 2025, the Hispalyt Brick Architecture Award 2021–2023, the Mapei Circular Economy Award 2022, the El Temps de les Arts Award 2021, the 14th Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism Award (2018), the NAN Award for Best Energy Efficiency (2018), the BUILD Architecture Awards (2017), the European MADA Award (2013), and a nomination for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Awards (2017).
