Ângela Roldão Arquitetura

Ângela Roldão Arquitetura is a brazilian office based in Belo Horizonte. Ângela Roldão, who gratuated from UFRJ (the same university where Oscar Niemeyer studied, in Rio de Janeiro) has studied and worked both in Brazil and in Germany and has been working for almost forty years in the architecture and interior design field. The studio has projects in several cities in Brazil and also in other 7 countries, and has been published in many websites, books and magazines all over the world.

The constant study, the will to innovate and create a modern and minimalist architecture are inseparable characteristics of the office's work. "When it comes to architecture, we always study a lot and venture a little further" - said Ângela. As each project is unique, we believe that it is essential to surprise, as the late brazilian architect Ruy Ohtake said: “if it does not mark an era or cause surprise and emotion, my work makes no sense”.
