08014

08014 is an architecture practice established in 2018 in Barcelona, led by Adrià Guardiet (ETSAB, 2010) and Sandra Torres (ETSAB, 2009; Master’s in Technology, ETSAB, 2012). Their approach to building design, public space, and landscape is characterized by precision, committed to typological, environmental, technical and material research, attentive to site-specific conditions and sensitive to the resources used and the impacts generated.

In 2023, 08014 was recognized at the AR Emerging Awards as one of the fifteen emerging international architecture practices of the year. Their work has been awarded in more than twenty competitions and has been recognized at events such as the Spanish Biennial of Architecture and Urban Planning (2021, 2023, 2025), the New European Bauhaus Prizes (2025), the Hispalyt Architecture Award (2023, 2025), the FAD Awards (2020, 2023), the European Prize for Urban Public Space (2024), the Mapei Award for Sustainable Architecture (2023), the Enor Architecture Awards (2023), the 11th Barcelona International Landscape Biennial (2021) and the AJAC Awards (2018), amongst others.

08014’s work has been published in magazines such as Architectural Review, El Croquis, Arquitectura Viva, Detail and Werk Bauen+Wohen, and exhibited at local and international exhibitions such as the Venice Architecture Biennale (2025), 'The new realist. Catalan and Balearic architecture from the 2008 crisis' and 'Habitar España. Half a century of housing'.

The studio has been invited to present its work at various universities and institutions in Spain, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Poland, including the Royal Academy of Arts in London, FAUS Stuttgart, AUIC Politecnico di Milano, USI-Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, and the Schools of Architecture in Barcelona, Vallès, Madrid, A Coruña, Donostia and Valladolid, amongst others.

The members of 08014 combine their professional work at the studio with university teaching, currently at the School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSAB) and the School of Architecture La Salle (ETSALS). They have led workshops at architecture schools such as AUIC Politecnico di Milano, Tec de Monterrey and ESARQ-UIC School of Architecture, and have taken part in various academic panels and juries at universities and institutions across the country.
